IFLS-600 insulation fault location system used in ships
In April 2024, a polar research vessel docked along the coast of Guangdong for maintenance. Ship insulation performance monitoring is an important part of the IT power grid system (unearthed system). Due to a lack of understanding of the Sikcon IFLS-600, the original maintenance plan was to use a European brand's insulation monitoring and fault location system. However, due to the long ordering cycle, it seriously affected the ship's maintenance cycle. Therefore, the maintenance agency approached our company and, after fully examining our product technology and internal factory testing, finally confidently adopted our IFLS-600 insulation monitoring and fault location system.
After installation, the maintenance engineer compared the performance of our company's product with that of a certain European brand and highly praised our product's performance. Both sides have a monitoring response time of about 10 seconds, but our company can achieve monitoring in a large distributed capacitor network, while a certain European brand cannot. In addition, our insulation detection system can accurately monitor insulation faults at the back of the frequency converter, which is a greater improvement than other products.
