Sikcon's SKIM500W is an insulation monitoring device specially designed for wind turbines, which is an offline insulation monitoring device to measure the insulation of cables or turbine windings, etc. The test voltage is DC500V, and the device is interlocked with the wind turbine circuit for control. It automatically realizes the disconnection of the insulation monitoring instrument from the power grid when the generator is running. When the generator is shut down, the insulation monitoring instrument automatically starts to detect the insulation between the generator stator winding to ground, rotor winding to ground, and stator winding to rotor winding. This product can effectively eliminate the cost and safety risks of manual measurement with a megohmmeter.
SKIM500W Features
