Sikcon Insulation Monitoring and Fault Location Applied to a Non-ferrous Metal Mine
Sikcon relies on its complete products lines and excellent performance to be applied in the insulation monitoring project of China's three major non-ferrous metal mines. In this project, Sikcon's high-voltage insulation monitoring device was applied. The high-voltage insulation monitoring device is mainly used for automatic monitoring of high-voltage motors above 3kV after shutdown, replacing the traditional manual detection method of megohmmeters. It is used for insulation monitoring in damp and complex working conditions underground mines, which not only reduces labor intensity but also improves the safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage motors.
In addition, because the underground power grid system in mines is a neutral point unearthed system (IT system), frequent dragging of mining machines and cables during mining operations poses a great challenge to the insulation performance of the power grid system. At the same time, the underground power grid system is complex, with large distributed capacitance and multiple power grid branches. Therefore, there is a strong demand for insulation monitoring and fault location products, as well as high requirements for product stability, measurement response time, and accuracy. Therefore, Sikcon's IFLS-600 insulation monitoring and fault location system has been highly recognized by end customers through on-site testing and application, especially in frequency converter power grid systems. The stability and measurement response advantages of IFLS-600 are more prominent, and its measurement performance is better than many similar products of European brands.
